Considered one of the leading Italian mid-century modernists, Guglielmo Pecorini was an Italian designer and manufacturer active between the 1930s and 1950s. Founder of Guglielmo Pecorini & Co., he distinguished himself by producing elegant wood and woven furniture of high-quality craftsmanship. He participated in the Milan Triennale (1937) and the international exhibition "Italy at Work" (Brooklyn Museum, 1950). A still little-documented figure, his work is now highly regarded for its modernist rigor combined with the great tradition of Italian craftsmanship.

José Zanin Caldas (1919–2001) was one of the leading exponents of Brazilian modernism. Self-taught and trained as a carpenter, he developed a personal language based on the expressive use of solid wood. He collaborated with leading architects, including Oscar Niemeyer, significantly contributing to the definition of 20th-century Brazilian design.

Xavier Feal, born Jean Claude Neyton, was a French designer active between the late 1960s and early 1970s. A graduate of the prestigious Ecole Boulle in Paris, Feal was famous for creating steel furniture and objects that were iconic of the Parisian avant-garde chic style of the time. His products were produced in small numbers between 1969 and 1975.
After 1975, he abandoned furniture design for a successful career in the precision engineering industry.
