An important pair of cabinets, designed for a high-ranking client, dating back to the Qing Dynasty (19th century). Elegant in their unusual, sharply tapered lines, they are distinguished by the refined gold appliqués that embellish the lacquered surfaces. Each cabinet features two drawers and a door concealing an internal compartment. A rare pair, conceived and preserved together, of great charm and craftsmanship.
